It’s Friday and I’d like to start a tradition of doing some affirmations on the podcast. After all, the week is wrapping up and you know what? There are probably loose ends that you won’t be able to get to today. But I don’t want you going into the weekend feeling anything other than GOOD about yourself. After all, when we feel good, we send great emails. And when we send great emails, we see some spectacular results. So settle in. I promise you’ll feel better in just 5 minutes.

Hey, friend. Liz Wilcox, here. Welcome to the email sound booth. This is episode three, Friday affirmations. Now I know what you’re thinking, affirmations? I thought this was a podcast about email, and it is. But I want to start a tradition of doing things a little differently on Fridays, taking it down a notch.
I know this podcast is fun, it’s fresh, maybe even a little funky, but on Fridays, the week is wrapping up, you know, and there honestly are probably some loose ends that you’re not going to get to today. But I don’t want you going into the weekend feeling anything other than good about yourself because when we feel good, we can write some really great emails. And when we write great emails, we see some spectacular results, so settle in.
We’re just gonna do like a five-minute thing. I’ll say the affirmation, and you simply say it back to yourself. Personally, I like to say it out loud, but I know that isn’t everyone’s preference, so I’ll let you decide to repeat it in your head or say it out loud—up to you, whatever. Oh, and pay attention to the ones that give you a little pause, make you a little hesitant. Maybe, you know, spend an extra few minutes journaling, or, you know, just listening to yourself and dissecting that. In fact, I’ll actually let the podcast background music play an extra few minutes so you can journal or just dissect it in your head.
All right. Are you ready? Settle in. Let’s start.
The only one that owns my time is me.
I am happy with the direction things are going.
I set the pace because this is my race.
People signed up to hear from me, and I am just following through on that promise.
My products are for serving. I am meant to help others in this capacity.
My perfectionism will not stop me from reaching my goals.
I love my products and services, so of course, I sell them.
My subscribers love my products and services, so of course, they buy them.
I do my best with the time I have today.
I know the difference between a money-making activity and busy work.
Connections lead to cash, and I am well connected.
I say no when I’ve reached capacity.
Ideas are plentiful, which means I don’t have to pursue each one.
My best looks different every day.
Okay, friend, I hope that helps you get through today and into the weekend with more peace and confidence. I am rooting for you so hard, and I can feel your success in my bones. Have a great weekend.

I loved this idea of a tradition for affirmations on Friday. I am an affirmation lover and this episode really resonated with me because I have challenges with marketing (putting myself out there).
I printed out the affirmations for me to add to my daily journal so I can keep them top of mind each day this week. I look forward to your next set of affirmations for next week. 🙂
Speaking positive affirmations out loud is so powerful, Liz. Congrats on your new podcast! Cheering you on, mama!
Hey this is soooo cool! Thank you I will share this
