What’s up? Liz Wilcox here. Oh my gosh, why did I just start that so awkwardly? I don’t know, I guess I’m just kind of awkward. Anyway, what’s up, what’s up? Let’s get into it. This is episode 32 of the Email Soundbooth podcast. I feel super lucky you’re here with me today, especially because this episode is all about my Black Friday offer, and it’s I want to also talk about why it’s so freaking important to me this year.
Uh, this is not a brand new offer. It’s something I normally launch a few times a year. I have not launched it at all in 2024 and I’m so excited to bring it back. So that’s a reason why it’s so important to me, uh, this year. But there are lots of other reasons that I get to first Let me share the offer if you don’t know my offer is going to be something I call the annual pass So I want to get as many pass holders as possible this Black Friday.
So It’s an annual pass. It is a pass into my membership. If you’ve listened to this podcast, if you’ve been on my email list, uh, if you’ve been around the online entrepreneur space, you’ve probably heard of it. It’s called email marketing membership. Cause yes, that is still important, even though it might not be wholly accurate. We’re going to talk about percentage of customers.
We’re going to talk about click through rate, first click rate, and all, all manner of. Metrics and I’m so so excited about it. Um, yeah, so again the annual pass it’s going to be open Monday November 25th through the end of Black Friday, Friday the 29th. I’m not gonna ever have to pay for workers comps, uh, or, you know, land contracts and leases and this and that and the other, right? And so I thought, well, if I could just make money off the membership fee and give everyone pretty much everything for free, wouldn’t that be awesome? And I’ll tell you what, uh, it has been awesome.
The annual pass is now turning three years old. I have over 2, 300 members. Pass holders, uh, inside the membership and it feels so so amazing that we are bringing it back Uh, we haven’t offered it since last black friday I closed it down because I knew I was going to be on that show survivor. I knew I wasn’t going to have the capacity to keep launching it and, you know, serving that many pass holders.
But guess what? The show is over. Uh, Liz Wilcox and her mojo are back. And I’m so, so, so freaking ready to serve everyone as many people as possible in this capacity. So let’s talk about why this matters so much right now in 2024. Well, number one, everyone is raising their prices. And guess what? This offer has been 108 for 3 years now.
I’ve launched it, I’m pretty sure, um, 10 times now. This might be the 10th launch. And I have yet to increase the price. And I will not increase the price. I freaking love the price. I love that I’m able to say, yep, 108, right? And I’ve seen so many people, especially in Q4 of 2024, we’ve gone through the entire year and people are raising their prices.
I even have, I’ve seen someone that has a similar offer to me where it’s kind of this one, uh, low, we’ll say low priced, uh, offer where you get access to all of their products. And I saw them upping, I think they, I, don’t quote me, but I feel like they more than doubled the price, or they doubled the price.
It was very close to double or more. And I just feel so blessed that I don’t have to do that. And granted, they had amazing reasons for doubling the price, and the value is definitely there. But I just, you know, I don’t know. When everybody zigs, I like to zag. I like, I’m so happy. Stubborn as a mule and I’m just like no, I will not raise the price I don’t care if I have to go out and sell annual passes one by one by one by one In order to make the profit because this is an offer and this is a price that I stand by I want you to be able to get in and not worry About oh, can I afford the next level because that’s the thing about the annual pass when you get all the products You get all the levels and that isn’t to be overwhelming, but it is to say, okay, in the first quarter list, I need help with these basics.
Okay, now we’re halfway through the year list. I need help with these. And you have everything you need. I’m not having to upsell you or anything. It’s, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s, it’s, It’s just, it just is like a better buying experience for all of us. It’s a better selling experience for me. I can get excited about it.
I don’t have to justify my costs and you don’t have to justify the spending. So this matters so much right now in 2024. Again, I’m not raising my price. And again, because I know that business is hard right now. Uh, I don’t want you to give up. I’ve seen so many people say, Oh, I’m not sure. I might have to, you know, go back to my job.
And if you got to get a job, you got to get a job. There’s absolutely no shame in that. Maybe that’s another podcast episode I can do. Uh, but. I don’t want you to give up. I know this can work for you and I know it can work for you without spending a crap ton of cash learning how Um, I don’t take clients.
This is really how I serve my people. I’m so freaking excited to bring it back Because I really want you to succeed Uh, I know things are hard right now and when things get hard if you can make your business simple That’s great. And that’s something I always say simple is my superpower. That’s something I want to help you with.
But if you can have accountability on top of simplifying your business, that is so much better, right? And that is what the annual pass does. It’s this built in accountability. It says, Hey, I paid for a year. I committed. I know Liz Wilcox is going to commit with me. She’s here every step of the way. And just like in 2024, this upcoming year 2025, I’m going to have live cohorts.

List building, I see this in 2025. We’re going to be re centering and re focusing on list building training. every single month because chances are your main problem is a list building problem.
It’s a list growth problem. Again, we’re doing the live cohorts where we’re going to learn about stuff that you actually can use to get closer to your goals, closer to having a real business, and I’m going to give you the co working time to implement. If you can’t see me, I’m like moving like crazy because I’m so excited.
So in Q1, we’re going to redo your welcome sequence. We’re going to focus on that list growth. We’re really going to, you know, set some intentions and set up a plan. In Q2, we’ll learn about email metrics and which ones for your individual business. You need, and we’ll evaluate how the list growth has been going, right?
We need to course correct often. In Q3, we’re going to learn all about sales. Oh, I haven’t even brought this up. So we’re going to do, I’m creating a brand new mini course. We’re going to go live together, learning all about copywriting and email copywriting and sales. sales paid copywriting in particular.
We’re going to be talking about launching. We’re going to be talking about Black Friday launches. We’re going to be talking about flash sales. We’re going to be doing all things sales in Q3. I’m so excited. And then in Q4, so a year from now, you’re going to be able to look back on everything we’ve done and you’re going to be able to see how far you’ve come.
Of course, I’ll probably add in some automation, uh, stuff in there as well. I mean, imagine in a year from now, you’ve got your foundation set, your list is growing, and you know how to grow it further for years to come. Oh my gosh, I’m so freaking excited. And imagine just feeling more confident. About your calendar about what you’re doing with your email list and your business your metrics your sales.
Oh my gosh I want this for you so badly Which is why I’m so freaking excited to bring back the annual pass this Black Friday again November 25th through 29th And I want this so bad for you. Uh, you know, I hear from bookkeepers and accountants, yeah, you know, sales are down for my people. My sales are not down this year. Why? Because I use strategies and tactics That I teach inside email marketing membership. They’re not fancy, they’re not cutting edge. Uh, in fact, they’re, they’re pretty basic, but they’re just tried and true methods that work.
That’s what I wanna teach you as an annual pass holder. I want you to set up your business around email marketing so that you make the money you need to make to keep pursuing your dreams and your goals. All right, that’s my 18 minute pitch. They say a pitch should be 30 seconds. That’s, that’s the 18 minute pitch.
