What’s up, my friend? Liz Wilcox here, the fresh princess of email marketing. You already know. We are on episode 44. Holy mackerel. We are cruising, aren’t we? And today we’re just going to talk about a really simple way, like I’m talking like stupid simple. Way to let new leads know about a time sensitive offer So I got this from the amazing long time member of emm Lisa And in the email sound booth, uh facebook group.

She asked How can we integrate a time sensitive broadcast into a sequence with a new email subscribers? So I think what she means is, you know, Hey, Liz, I’ve got this welcome sequence going and people are entering my email list and going through the welcome sequence, but I have this awesome offer. I’m launching right now.

How can I get them to see it? Right? And she mentions a time sensitive broadcast, but, um, you can do that. You could just send it to new leads. And so here’s, I’ve got two things. So number one, like Lisa said, you could send a time sensitive broadcast. The subject line could be time sensitive, open now. And inside it, you can say something like, I know you’re new around here.

I know you just signed up. Normally, I wouldn’t send you anything because you’re going through my welcome sequence. If you want to get technical like that, uh, you don’t have to mention the welcome sequence. Uh, but I didn’t want you to miss out. After all, you just signed up, meaning you’re actively interested in getting better at this thing.

Whatever. Right? And then just pitch the offer. You could do that. I would suggest if you’re going to do something like that, maybe put a video in there. A video in the first like five days is awesome for establishing trust. Um, or you could do it where you don’t send out a broadcast, you just add it to the welcome sequence.

So what do I mean by that is You know, don’t pause your automations. Maybe don’t send that time sensitive broadcast, but you can add the offer to your automated emails, add the offer to that welcome sequence. So go into your welcome sequence and edit it where maybe it’s a PS, PS for this week only. And then you can put the dates, right?

So that they know this is like, Right now, you know, we’re offering da da da this limited time offer, right? Uh, you could Change the content completely For example, if I was doing my annual pass, right that’s going to be open on blog friday, november 25th through the 29th, right? So let’s say it’s november 26 Uh, normally a new subscriber, if they, they join on the 26th, they’re going to get the welcome email.

Then the next day on the 27th, they’re going to get another welcome email that has my best content. So maybe on the 27th. I changed that second email from my best content to, uh, my best offer, right, and instead of sharing some blog posts or, you know, a podcast episode, I’m sharing like, hey, this is limited time, it’s Black, the week of Black Friday, I know you just joined, um, this is I promise not to pitch you to death, but you know, here you go.

My annual pass, it’s 108 bucks. You get all my products, including a year of my membership for 108 bucks. That means you don’t have to spend another dime with me. And then maybe I put in a video saying like walking through my membership and all the different products, right? Now, the tricky part of this is you have to remember to change it back, right?

So if you are going to change the content of those. You know, what that welcome sequence, those first few emails, make sure like my sale, it’s going to end. November 29th. So I’m making sure on November 30th, I go into that welcome sequence and I change that content back. Now you can temporarily change your tripwire as well.

So when a tripwire, if you don’t know, it’s when I join your email list, instead of sending me to like a, thanks for joining Liz type of page, you send me to a usually very limited time. very usually I’ll say cheap offer or cheap compared to the normal price. But if you’ve got this limited time offer, this time sensitive thing, you could just put that in the tripwire and you could say, Hey, uh, you know, this week only.

And again, put the date so they actually know that that’s true. You know, I’m offering this for this price. and put the sales page. And you can just duplicate whatever sales page you’ve got right now and just put that, uh, what I just said at the top. Again, don’t forget to change things back. Don’t forget to get that on the calendar.

Now, yes, some people are more technical than me and can offer you maybe some better advice on this. Maybe, you know, pause your emails and replace these emails for a short period of time, whatever, whatever. But honestly, anytime I try to pause or move somebody from this place to that place, I always end up messing stuff up.

So for me, It’s just easier to go into that welcome sequence, change it up, set a, you know, set a calendar reminder for the day after the sale to change it back. Um, and then like Lisa from our email sound booth, Facebook group said, you can also, you know, just. Hit send during your welcome sequence, you know, with a subject line like time sensitive and then an explanation of why you’re interrupting them with this offer.

All right. I hope that was simple enough. Hope that was helpful. My friend, when it comes to email, I love you. You know, when in doubt, just keep it simple. All right. I’m Liz Wilcox. Don’t forget about my annual pass sale, my limited time, time sensitive offer, November 25th through the 29th. I’ve already used it as an example.

So you already know all my products a year into the membership, 108 bucks. Seriously, this is like over 2, 000 worth of stuff. It’s 108 bucks. Not going to ask you for another dime for the rest of the year. Super excited for all my new annual pass holders. You can get on the wait list, Liz Wilcox. com slash wait list.

All right. That was the episode, episode 44. I’m Liz. You’re awesome. And I’ll see you on the next, uh, the next episode. Bye.
