What’s up, what’s up? Liz Wilcox in your ears, you know, the fresh princess of email marketing. This is episode 79 of the email sound booth podcast. And today we are going to talk about a different kind of super signature that I’m I’m going to be experimenting with, uh, the first half of 2025. So if you don’t know what a super signature is, it’s that little footer at the bottom of your emails.
A lot of people will say, use it as like a PS. So PS will be When you’re ready, here are ways we can work together. And then they might list out, you know, two paid offers and their podcast or something like that. Right. I’m sure you have seen it. Now I haven’t done a super signature because a lot of email marketers do them.
And I am the fresh princess of email marketing, right? I like to do things that are fresh, not old, stale, done, has been. wannabe, you know, I like fresh takes, but I finally come up with a way for me to use the super signature because the PS, the bottom of that email is great real estate and I don’t want it to go to waste.
I finally came up with something that feels good for me. That isn’t just join my membership, join my membership, right? Of course, I want you to join my membership. You can, you can check out the link in the show notes, but I just feel like there’s a better. There’s something else that I could put at the bottom of the email.
So what I’m going to do because I am hella organized, if you’re watching on YouTube, side note, if you’re not watching on YouTube, go to watchliz. com and, uh, you know, subscribe to my YouTube channel. That’s what we’re doing in 2025, baby. Anyway. What I’m going to be doing is in 2025, I pretty much have everything mapped out all 12 months.
Now I can only do this because I’ve been doing my membership for four years now. And you know, not that it’s a rinse and repeat situation. But I am, you know, recycling, redoing a lot of old content, keeping it fresh, right? There’s a theme here, um, and giving the people what they want. So I have pretty much the whole year mapped out.
On YouTube, you can see I’ve got a calendar behind me, right? Now, That’s what I’m doing with my super signature. Instead of putting, Hey, join my membership, come to this workshop. I’m actually just going to have a calendar. This is something I still have to implement. Um, that says what’s coming up in the next 90 days, you know?
So instead of, you know, PS, when you’re ready, here are ways I can help you. I’m going to say, you know, PS, in case you’re wondering, here’s coming up, here’s what’s coming up in the next 90 days. And I’m going to link how, you know, January. Last week of January foundations week. We’re gonna cover, you know, welcome sequences and the foundations of list building, you know February 16th email marketing membership turns four years old, you know, March 18th through whatever Annual pass goes back on sale.
Now. This is a way number one to get my members Knowing what’s happening to get my annual pass holders specifically because they get all this for free They don’t have to pay for anything when you’re an annual pass holder. You get everything that I do for free Unless it’s like a service right unless it’s taking up a lot of my time.
Like I’m looking at your You know welcome sequence or something. That’s a service. That’s not a product, but you get all my products for free, right? And so they need to know what products, what live workshops, what I’m promoting, they need to know that. So it’s going to help the pass holders make the most of their path, right?
Then it’s going to help 9 a month members know like, Oh, you get this for free in the past. The next time the past comes up, I’m going to upgrade. So it’s a way of pre launching. And then for non members, it’s a way of showing like, number one, Liz has a plan and she implements it. Maybe I don’t have a plan.
And so I need to follow the person with the plan and that’s Liz Wilcox. So it’s going to keep them opening the emails. It’s going to show them, Hey. Last week of January, that’s coming up soon. Welcome sequence. I need to work on my welcome sequence. Maybe I’ll buy that so that when I sell it, they’re more apt to buy.
Listen, people don’t buy when you sell something they buy when they’re ready, but they can get more ready by being prepared by knowing what is coming. So that’s what I’m going to do with my super signature. Instead of just putting offers, I’m going to put a calendar. I’m going to tell people what’s coming up each quarter.
That way, when I put it in an email. It’s not sprung on them. They knew it was coming. So that’s my experiment for the first half of 2025. Of course, I’ll have to update you, uh, this summer on how it goes, how I felt about it. You know, the good, the bad, the ugly can’t wait, but that’s my, uh, different spin on the super signature.
Can’t wait to update you as always. If you are not a member of email marketing membership yet, I’d love to have you join. Uh, you know, you can get in for just a 9 a month. You get weekly templates sent directly to your inbox for you to take and make your own for newsletters. Also get access to once a month, Q and a quarterly guest.
For guest experts, uh, and some other really awesome stuff for just nine bucks link in the show notes. All right, that’s it for today. As always, I’m Liz Wilcox. You are awesome. And I’ll see you on the next episode. If I knew how to end this.
