Hey, hello, friend, this is the fresh princess of email marketing speaking, and you are listening to episode 20 of the email sound booth podcast. Lucky me today. I just want to share a little trick. I came up with myself a trick that started as a way to who to thunk a trick myself out of feeling bad about being broke, honestly, and to trick myself into putting going into work mode.
Uh, but also a trick I realized that more people should implement. It’s something I still use to this day, even though I’ve now got, um, more than enough amount of money to spend on my business. So here goes. The next time. You are lured into a sales page for a product that promised to do XYZ for your business for 49 or whatever price.
Um, this is especially true for like 100 or less. So the next time you’re lured into a sale page like that, instead. You just spend 49 minutes doing something that you’ve put off that you know will help your business. Seriously, just go to Google, type in 40, my hang on a sec, let me start over, go to Google, type in a 49 minute timer and get moving.
That’s it. That’s the tip bonus. Stop subscribing to all the things asking you to buy all the things. I mean, Stay subscribed to my email list, obviously. Really though, like unsubscribe from my list. If you spend more time reading and following me than actually implementing what I’m trying to get you to implement, I want you to actually go out and start taking action.
So even some of my emails, uh, you know, um, like my black Friday training, it’s a hundred bucks. My launch course is 400. My, I’m going to do a welcome sequence workshop. I always do it at the beginning of the year. Um, I, I think at the time of this recording, it’s 49 bucks, right? If you don’t have the 49, or if you’re already like not doing stuff in your business, when you know you should be, don’t spend the money, spend the Time, right?
You know, your next right move. I don’t need to tell you, you don’t need my permission slip. You don’t need anybody’s permission slip. You know, your next right move. I say this with love. Stop distracting yourself. Stop spending money. Stop letting people like me, honestly, nickel and dime you, so to speak, and start spending that time.
So again, the one little trick to keep your biz lean and be productive at the same time, the next time you get a, a low ticket offer, like 49, instead of spending 49, on that thing, spend 49 minutes doing something, you know, you’ve been putting off, but you also know we’ll move the needle, do the thing, put the wallet away, set a timer for the price of that shiny little distraction.
I mean, offer and get to work. I can’t wait to see what you do in that time. Of course, I’m going to be eye roll ironic here.
