Hey, friend, Liz Wilcox here, speaking at the email sound booth podcast. It’s that time again. Time for a little Friday affirmation. As always, I hope these help you find peace, help you find pride in all the bricks you’ve laid this week. Speaking of this week we are going to focus on rest. Yes, resting. It is so essential. But we entrepreneurs often forego it for our more ambitious plans. And if you haven’t noticed, the theme of this week is your girl Liz. She’s a little tired. So I wanted to give myself permission and give you permission to rest.
So let’s settle in. This will be maybe five minutes, maybe a little more. I can, I can never tell. But you already know because you can see this in your podcast player, right? I’ll say the affirmation. You say it back to yourself out loud or you know, in your head. Up to you as always. I really, really, really want you to pay attention to the things that give you a little pause, make you a little hesitant, maybe journal on them or spend a few extra minutes at the end of the podcast dissecting it.
Are you ready? Let’s start. I honor my need for rest and self care. Taking time for myself is a priority. Rest and relaxation nurture my body and mind. I deserve to relax and enjoy life as it comes. I am my own best friend and I take care of me. With each person breath, I relax even more. Letting go of my worries is essential to my success. I am grateful for the opportunity to recharge. When I rest, I am more ready for tomorrow’s challenges. Rest is a powerful tool I use to grow. My mind and body are ready for rest. I am safe to rest and try again tomorrow. I trust that rest is what I need in this moment. Slow and steady really does win the race. I have done my best for today. My best looks different every day.
